Hi, friends!

Dr. David Lok here, with a little story and some exciting news to share. It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come since I first started out as an associate—just a kid (haha) with a dream, tinkering with dental tools just down the street from 346 Dundas. Back in the ‘90s, after some time away with a practice in Hong Kong, I returned to Toronto with my wife, Elizabeth, and planted roots at 346 Dundas Street West. That little two-operatory office in the historic, Victorian house became more than just a workplace—it turned into a hub of memories, laughter, and care for so many of you.

Over the years, Elizabeth and I, Lalaine and her sister, Eufemia, have had the privilege of serving friends, families, and neighbours. From kids getting their first check-ups to grandparents needing a little extra TLC, we’ve been there through it all—cleanings, fillings, and the occasional emergency root canal. That old house may not have been much to look at (creaky floors and all!), but it was filled with heart. We loved being a part of your lives, swapping stories in the waiting room, and seeing familiar faces year after year. It’s humbling to think about how many smiles we’ve helped keep bright in this community.

But as much as we’ve cherished that space, it’s time for a fresh start. I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve merged with City Dental on Bay Street! Starting March 1, 2025, we’re packing up and moving to a sleek, modern practice with expanded dental services and top-notch diagnostics. It’s a big step up from our cozy, weathered digs—a clean, bright office with room to grow and even better ways to care for you. We’re bringing the whole crew along: me, Elizabeth, and our wonderful Eufemia, who you all know keeps everything running smoothly.

The new spot at City Dental isn’t just about fancy equipment or a shiny new address—it’s about continuing to be there for you with the same warmth and dedication, just with a few more bells and whistles. We’re excited to offer more comprehensive care, from advanced screenings to a wider range of treatments, all under one roof. And don’t worry if you call and hear a new voice on the line—our team’s growing, but you can always ask for one of us. We’re still the same folks who’ve got your back (and your teeth!).

Keep an eye on your inbox—we’ll be sending out some emails with all the details soon. We’d love for you to stop by and see the new place after we settle in on March 1.

As we pack up years of memories from our faithful old Victorian, we’re filled with gratitude for the trust you’ve placed in us and excitement for the future that awaits. After all, it’s not the building that makes a dental practice special—it’s the people within it and the care they provide.

We look forward to seeing your familiar faces in our new location soon!

Kind and warm Regards,

Dr. David Lok
